Keto/ Low Carb Biscuits

These Keto approved biscuits are a hit in our house! Kids devour them and its hard to keep them on hand. I wrap my breakfast biscuits in plastic wrap and keep them in the fridge for an easy and quick breakfast or snack.

These biscuits remind me of the Red Lobster cheddar garlic biscuits. They are great to make little sandwiches on, breakfast sandwiches or eat plain with butter! They are a bit crumbly so when I make the breakfast sandwiches I usuallt pop them in the freezer for about 5-10 mins before I cut them in half to help them hold their shape.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups almond flour

1 Tablespoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

4 Tablespoons melted butter

1/3 cup sour cream

1/2 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a muffin pan. Usually makes about 9 biscuits.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients with a whisk in a large bowl. Set aside.
  3. Combine wet ingredients in small bowl and whisk together with a fork until well combined.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix with a fork.
  5. Add shredded cheese and mix with a spatula.
  6. Distribute evenly in muffin pan. Makes about 9 biscuits. Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Once cooled, enjoy plain, with butter or cut in half and make breakfast sandwiches!
