Looking for quick low carb snack ideas for staying Keto? Wondering how to think outside the box? Here are a few of my favorites I’ve found that don’t take too much preparation or slave work.
CHEEZITS
Make your own Cheezits! Best eaten the day you make them for the extra crunch! Buy Ultra Thin Cheddar Cheese. Cut, salt & pepper and bake on a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Bake at 250 degree’s for 30 minutes or more.
PARFAIT
PLAIN, greek yogurt! Natural peanut butter, strawberries and Lily’s dark chocolate chips. Any berries are great and sometimes I add pecans or walnuts. I seriously love peanut butter so I make sure my ingredients listed on the jar say salt and peanuts only. Easy to whip up in a hurry.
CHEESE PLATTER
You won’t even miss the crackers! Load up your platter with variety of cheeses, your choice of veggies and this particular platter has salami & rotisserie chicken! I usually use green onions, tomatoes, black olives, jalapenos, pickled okra, pickles, an assortment of cheese and salami, cheesy sausages, rotisserie chicken, lunch meat and serve with forks!
Cucumber Chips and Guacamole:
Try cutting out chips and still getting a little crunch with cucumbers. Homemade guac and cucumbers are a “go to” for me.
Breakfast Biscuit:
How about a low carb/keto breakfast biscuit? Find the recipe here:
Some other quick fixes with low prep:
Pickles, Okra, sliced cheese, berries- strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, salami. I make coffee with sugar free syrup and heavy cream for a nice little dessert fix when I want something sweet or a starbucks. Sausage balls (see recipe), salt and vinegar almonds, peanut butter on low carb toast, deviled eggs, pork rinds, parmesan zucchini chips (see recipe), and super dark dark chocolate! YUM!
